AL-KO PROSAFE wheel clamp

Whether at the pitch, when travelling or in the car park at home: it is reassuring to know that the caravan is well secured. With the AL-KO PROSAFE security system, quick attempts at theft can be thwarted. Unlike the security locks from AL-KO, the wheel claw is attached directly to the wheel and prevents the theft of the caravan even more effectively by blocking it.

No need to drill or use picking tools: Thieves have no chance against the solid multi-layer construction and the locking cylinder with anti-drill protection of the AL-KO PROSAFE anti-theft device. Not only the technology, but also the look of the wheel clamp is impressive: painted in a striking warning colour, the wheel clamp acts as a deterrent to thieves.

Suitable for all common wheel rim models

As a versatile anti-theft device, this unique product can be installed quickly and easily - on all standard steel and aluminium rims with diameters from 13 to 17 inches.

You can fit the AL-KO PROSAFE yourself in just a few simple steps. Thanks to scratch and contact protection for the rim, it remains undamaged during installation. And if the anti-theft protection is not required, the wheel clamp can be stowed away in the robust storage case with practical functions.

Fitting

For initial fitting, a special wheel bolt is screwed into a screw hole in the rim and the distance is set using the adjustment bolt supplied. Then simply push the locking bar through the rim, fit the wheel claw and lock the cylinder lock - and your caravan is secure.

The AL-KO PROSAFE is only suitable for caravans and commercial trailers. It is not suitable for motorhomes or vans. The AL-KO PROSAFE was specially developed for use on caravans and commercial trailers, as these have smaller drum brakes and the required blocking bar can be pushed past these drum brakes as anti-theft protection. Motorhomes and vans have a disk brake installed that is too big for the blocking bar to be pushed past it.
The AL-KO PROSAFE has been available since July 2024 and can currently be purchased within Germany from our online store. In other countries, please contact our customer centers or your trusted retailer.
Some combinations of wheel brake and rim (and SAWIKO WHEELY) do not leave space for the AL-KO PROSAFE’s 20 mm diameter locking bar included in the standard scope of delivery. In this case, a locking bar with a diameter of 16 mm is required, which can be purchased separately from our online store (Germany) or your local dealer.
Although an E&P leveling system offers a certain degree of anti-theft protection, the AL-KO PROSAFE adds significantly increased security by physically locking the wheels.

Yes, to install the AL-KO PROSAFE, a wheel bolt must be removed once and replaced with a special wheel bolt included in the scope of delivery. This special wheel bolt can then remain permanently on the caravan or commercial trailer. The case contains both tapered seat and conical seat wheel bolts so that you can select the right bolt for bolts installed on your caravan or commercial trailer.
Yes, it is possible to purchase additional wheel bolts to mount the AL-KO PROSAFE on different wheels or for multiple mounting positions.
No, the AL-KO PROSAFE effectively prevents this, as the wheels are blocked by the locking bar and the caravan or trailer cannot move. This prevents the caravan or commercial trailer from being moved.
