The new AL-KO VTE touchscreen panels allow electrical and electronic systems in camping vehicles to be controlled and monitored even more efficiently. Equipped with 7- or 10-inch touchscreens as well as Bluetooth and WiFi, they make it possible to connect and operate all components and devices on board via smartphones or tablets using the ONDA app.

Even the smaller 4.3-inch version offers touch functionality with buttons for a more traditional feel. These panels consume very little energy in standby mode and can communicate via the mobile phone network to send notifications or activate the air conditioning and other systems remotely.

The intelligent Battery Duo System 200 (BDS200 for short) helps to optimally manage two 12-volt on-board batteries in a motorhome or caravan – even if they have different ages or capacities. It recognizes when a battery is defective and automatically disconnects it from the system.

The system is compatible with the CL-BUS standard so that it can be easily connected to other devices on board. It supports both lithium and lead-acid batteries, such as gel or AGM batteries, and can handle up to 200 amps of power in total (100 amps per channel). It also shows how long the batteries will last along with their charging status and general condition. With the ONDA Smart System app and a Bluetooth connection, you can conveniently display all relevant information on your smartphone.

The high-quality PRM400 solar regulator can process the energy from solar panels with up to 400 watts total output as well as charge both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries (such as gel or AGM batteries) with 12 volts. The energy supply is automatically controlled and limited. Thanks to MPPT technology, the PRM400 ensures that the maximum possible power is always extracted from the solar panels, which makes charging the batteries particularly efficient.

Operating status information can be read not only via an app, but also on an optional display panel. The regulator can be connected to other devices via CL-BUS. MPPT stands for ‘Maximum Power Point Tracking’. This technology is used in photovoltaic systems and other systems with variable energy sources to achieve the maximum possible output under the respective overall conditions. This optimizes the battery charging process and therefore also your energy yield.

All of our on-board devices and components with Bluetooth connectivity can be integrated into the ONDA Smart System. The associated ONDA app displays these via smartphone or tablet and enables monitoring and control. A huge advantage for you as a user – after all, who wants to deal with countless different apps every day?
