AL-KO opens new Customer and Training Centre in the UK
AL-KO Vehicle Technology UK opens a state-of-the-art customer and training centre in Southam/Warwickshire, in the south of England. The new facility is located in Sucham Park, just 400 metres from the company’s UK headquarters. This expands the company's European network of customer centres to a total of nine locations.
The centre serves a dual purpose: On the one hand, it functions as a customer-focused service hub with a modern workshop where trained AL-KO technicians carry out installations – including advanced hydraulic levelling systems.
On the other hand, the site also offers dedicated training for dealership service staff and mobile technicians. Training content focuses on chassis, suspension systems, and hydraulic levelling systems for caravans and motorhomes. In partnership with the National Caravan Council (NCC), AL-KO will now offer NCC-accredited training programmes to support professionals in meeting the increasing demands of an ever-evolving vehicle technology landscape.
“Getting the facility to this point has been a 12-month challenge, bringing together the services and machinery needed to meet the high standards our customers expect”, says Patrick Quinn, Operations Manager at AL-KO UK. “AL-KO has made a significant investment in launching this new centre, and we’re proud to be creating new, skilled jobs here in Southam.”
The official opening is being attended by senior representatives of the Caravan and Motorhome Club of Great Britain. With this new centre, AL-KO underlines its commitment to customer proximity, innovation, and quality in the leisure vehicle sector.
