Management Team

Ugo Francescutti is managing director of AL-KO Vehicle technology electronics. He is responsible for the strategic and operational management (production, quality, logistics and purchasing) of the subsidiary. He has been with AL-KO since 2022. Ugo has 30 years of proven experience in the electronics industry. He worked for more than twenty-four years at OSRAM S.p.A. in various roles in electronics R&D, production and operations. He then joined the Fincantieri S.p.A. group at its subsidiary VARD (Norway) in the role of head of product managers. Ugo Francescutti has a degree in electronic engineering with a focus on telecommunications.

Alessandro Chies is managing director of AL-KO Vehicle technology electronics and also sales manager since 2022. His functions also include responsibility for product management and new product development with the involvement of MD Ugo Francescutti and R&D. He has been within the AL-KO VT Group (DexKo Group) since December 2020. AL-KO VTE was created from the merger of CBE acquired in AL-KO in 2018 and Nordelettronica acquired in AL-KO in 2020. Prior to this role he was a sales engineer since 1991 and then sole director and partner since 2011 also at Nordelettronica. Alessandro Chies has a diploma in electronics and was registered as a financial advisor in Venice from 2001 to 2006.
